One of the most important temples in Bali. Built in 1634 by a King of Mengwi dynasty, this impressive complex stands on an island in a river, its inner temple surrounded by a moat. Its Balinese name, Pura Taman Ayun, literally means “Garden Temple on the Water”.
On the way to Bedugul, we stop by for visiting the spice of Bali coffee and garden.
A major Shivaite and water temple in Bali and the other major water temple is Pura Ulund Danu Batur. The temple is located on the shore of Bratan Lake in the mountains near Bedugul. Water Tamples serve the entire region in the outflow areas, downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (Subak). Built in 1663 this temple is used for the offering ceremony to the Balinese water, lake and river goddes Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Bratan Lake as a main source of the irrigations in Cetral Bali. The 11 stories of Pelinggih Meru dedicqted to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha statuse also presents inside this temple.
A very beautiful and famous tourist attraction in the northern part of Bali. Llocated about 11 KM from Singaraja , North Bali or about 70 KM from Denpasar. Bali gitgit waterfall is in the plateau area with the height about 35 meters and it is surrounded by tropical tree and emiths the constantly natural water debit during the year. Waterfall sound around the charming nature is amazing and it is the separate attraction which can be enjoyed by each visitor who comes to visit. There are also often monkeys around taking the water from the waterfall.
Lovina’s a name taken from a home owned by Pandji Trisna, a regent of Buleleng and pioneer of tourism to Bali in the early 1950s. Popular activities for visitors include diving, snorkeling, and early-morning boat trips off the coast to see dolphins.
The sacred hot springs ‘Air Panas’ of Banjar are set in the midst of the jungle in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden, close to Lovina Beach, and it consist of three public and one private pool. The sulphuric water is of volcanic origin and has an agreeable warm temperature of 37 degrees Celcius, ideal for people suffering from rheumatic diseases.
