One of the most important temples in Bali. Built in 1634 by a King of Mengwi dynasty, this impressive complex stands on an island in a river, its inner temple surrounded by a moat. Its Balinese name, Pura Taman Ayun, literally means “Garden Temple on the Water”.
A small fertile monkey forest dwelling by the group of monkeys. it is one of tourist destinations in Bali which is strategically located beside the road. Many tourists has come to visit this place to see the cute monkeys.
On the way to Bedugul, we stop by for visiting the spice of Bali coffee and garden.
A major Shivaite and water temple in Bali and the other major water temple is Pura Ulund Danu Batur. The temple is located on the shore of Bratan Lake in the mountains near Bedugul. Water Tamples serve the entire region in the outflow areas, downstream there are many smaller water temples that are specific to each irrigation association (Subak). Built in 1663 this temple is used for the offering ceremony to the Balinese water, lake and river goddes Dewi Danu, due to the importance of Bratan Lake as a main source of the irrigations in Cetral Bali. The 11 stories of Pelinggih Meru dedicqted to Shiva and his consort Parvathi. Buddha statuse also presents inside this temple.

One of the famous tourist destinations located in Tabanan Regency, offering the beautiful view of rice terrace with fresh atmosphere. It is equal to its name Jatiluwih which is derived from two words “Jati and Luwih”. Jati means real and Luwih means good or beautiful. The breathtaking panorama of rice terrace with mount Batukaru as backdrop is categorised as the most interesting nature scenery. It has been appointed as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO in particular of Subak Organisation as a fundamental of the society lives. The variety of local rice planted in this area is very specific with the size of the paddy tree which is relatively higher than the normal paddy tree planted in other part of Bali. Jatiluwih is also well known as an area with the organic agriculture.
